The Northern Powerhouse Partnership (NPP) was launched in September 2016 as the leading voice of business and civic leaders across the North.

We created a new website for them during lockdown in 2020. It was great to work with their communications team (albeit remotely!) to create a website that would be search engine friendly, responsive across devices and easy to maintain and update.

Their brief was to refresh and redevelop their website to better position the brand for future growth opportunities. The work involved improving the site’s design and functionality together with increased user engagement.

Filtronic’s requirements included SEO at its core, a strong brand profile and an improved customer journey and experience. The site also required new features and functionality including job applications, search facility, extranet, integration with CRM and investor relations information.

It started with a brand refresh… seven years later and we’ve done lots to help promote TSA and the survey industry.

The Survey Association (TSA) is the trade body for surveying firms across the UK. Its role is to promote best practice amongst its members, provide a forum for discussion and continuing professional development and to lobby Government and other agencies such as the Environment Agency regarding policies likely to affect or involve the survey industry.

Starting with a brand refresh in 2008, we have been working with TSA ever since across their entire range of marketing communications including developing their website (think we are on version 3 right now!), search engine optimisation, trade show stand graphics and marketing literature.

Most recently we have been involved in promoting careers within surveying through the ‘Become a Surveyor’ website which included an animation sequence.

David Brown is a global leader in industrial gearing solutions and services. Its gear systems underpin assurance critical applications in industries where failure is not an option. These include defence, mining, power generation, oil and gas, rail and metals.

We created a range of animations for various divisions within David Brown including their Mining and Power Generation divisions.

We have created 3D models and animations to demonstrate their conveyor drives, pump drives, girth gear and pinions, mill drives and shovel and dragline components to these process intensive industries, showing the unique benefits of David Brown’s engineering and design. For example, in one animation we demonstrated their range of helical and bevel helical CX conveyor drives which were designed to meet the needs of the most arduous and intense conveying systems. Another example is an animated presentation which illustrates some of the energy efficient upgrades which can made to wind turbines to help them work more effectively.

Portasilo is a leading worldwide manufacturer and supplier bespoke storage and handling solutions and Portastor is a specialist in the manufacture of individually tailored integrated equipment housings.

Our task was to review their entire range of brochures. We created new icons, sector sub-brands and introduced 3D models of their bulk handling solutions. 3D animations were created to support exhibitions, trade shows and international sales.

Newtons commissioned us to review their existing website and search engine performance. Previous analytics and visitor behaviour, user experience and calls to action all informed the new design we created for them. The website serves both their private and business clients effectively.

Based on a content management solution, the new site is, of course, responsive and provides a great platform for search engine optimisation.

We enjoy working with the school’s external relations team to support the website and a range of external communications literature.

We were initially commissioned to create a new website for the School and have subsequently worked with them on two school prospectuses, a refresh of their photo library, CMS build to facilitate site management, online application solution, online donation and fundraising facility together with a range of literature to support their events.

We carried out market research to find out what prospective parents really want to know from the school’s website and prospectus. The challenge was to promote the school’s vast range of facilities and extra-curricular opportunities available to each pupil and in addition to the school’s academic successes we needed to reinforce its caring and nurturing learning environment.

Gifted Boston Spa as its name suggests is a local gift shop selling luxury designer giftware. Following huge success on the High Street and rather than relocating to larger premises the owners decided to investigate the world of e-commerce with us.

Now on version two of the solution with better access to the entire product range, we continue to manage Gifted’s SEO, in addition to supporting them with frequent product photography and creating a series of successful email marketing campaigns.

From inception and creation through to delivery and analysis, we help Gifted to build relationships with their customers, engaging with them so Gifted’s range of beautiful products are always fresh in their minds.

Our very first client! Fifteen years on, we’ve learnt quite a bit about air conditioning and we still look forward to each and every project with them!

Airedale designs and manufactures air conditioning products for a global market. We work with Airedale on a wide range of marketing and communications projects.
